8 Troubleshooting

aFollow-on tasks

1. Clean the KjelDigester (7–48).

2. Check the glassware (8–58).

8.3.2 Power supply failure [ERR1] during a digestion

CAUTION

Risk of acid or toxic fume inhalation!

Minor or moderate chemical burns of the airways.

1. Close the door of the fume hood as far as possible.

2. Leave the room.

3. Try to reestablish the power supply so that the fume will be aspirated.

4. Restart the digestion.

8.4.1 Suction module sealing and spring, check

1. Check all sealingsb and springsa on the suction module.
