3.1 Syncore Product Line Accessories

The Syncore product line is modular throughout. Every ac-

cessory is usable at any time with a Syncore single platform

and with all standard conﬁgurations.

3.2 The condenser unit

Introduction

The condenser unit is used to condense out solvent va-

pors under a reduced pressure and to collect them in a

receiving ﬂask. Cooling liquids may, for example, be water

at room temperature or liquids actively cooled in a cooling

aggregate.

During operation, the condenser unit is connected to a

vacuum source. Never use glassware if it is found to be

cracked. No manipulations may be made on either the

condenser unit or the receiving ﬂask during operation.

Glass parts subjected to a vacuum may implode and cause

material damage and personal injuries. Ground glass joints

may be turned and the unit as a whole moved only has

been fully vented.

sleeve b to the stand.

• Fastenthecoolertothepivotingclamp.

• Usingaclampe, fasten the adapter d to the cooler.

• Likewisefastenthereceivingaskftotheadapterwith

a clamp g.

The ﬁrmly-secured hoses must not come into contact with

the heating plate or the heated and cooled racks or vacuum

connections and must be ﬁxed by a clip.
