5 Putting into operation

17 C-660 Operation Manual, Version F

The collector head e is found on the collec-

tor arm h of the fraction collector. Clamp the

tubing guide f (metal pipe) tightly into the

collector head g.

Ensure that the height of the tubing guide f

is correct. It should be at least 1 cm above the

tube rim, so that it will not damage the tubing

during operation.

Now direct the FEP-tubing c from valve out-

let b and afterwards through the tubing guide

f, so that it pokes out approximately 3 mm.

Connect the valve to the WASTE VALVE con-

nection i.
