4.2 Multivapor platform

The platform is available with a 220–240 V and a
100–120 V power supply. The temperature and
orbital movement of the heating plate are indi-
vidually adjusted via the corresponding control
knobs. The temperature is limited to 95 °C to
prevent evaporation of water which is used as
heat transfer medium. Both the set and actual
temperature of the heating plate are shown in
the display.
The horizontal orbital speed of the heating plate
is indicated by a graduation (0…10) and ranges
from 0 to 370 rpm for the Multivapor P-6, or 0 to
485 rpm for the Multivapor P-12.
A black rubber gasket a prevents contamina-
tion of the instrument interior with liquids.
